Kerr Regional History Center

The Kerr Regional History Center (KRHC) serves as a repository for historical
and genealogical collections and a research center for the residents of the City of Kerrville, Kerr County, the Texas Hill Country, and beyond.

City of Kerrville and Kerr County history and genealogical data are emphasized, but the collection includes Hill Country and Texas materials.

Staff and volunteers are available to assist visitors in locating print and electronic resources to aid their research. Some of the resources available include:
  • Local newspaper records
  • Kerrville Tivy Yearbook collection
  • Kerrville city directories
  • Kerr County Oral History Project collection           
  • Access to genealogical research databases including Ancestry.com and Newspaper Archive
