The division is managed by the Assistant Director of Finance and falls within the Department of Finance.
The Accounting Services Division is charged with maintaining the integrity of financial reporting for the City of Kerrville. The division oversees the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and all financial reporting functions for the City.
The Accounting Division is involved with the completion of the annual audit and creation of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR). The City's CAFR has received the Government Finance Officers Association's Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting
every year since 1984. The Accounting Division is happy to provide copies of the latest CAFR to the public upon request.
