Information

This park along the Guadalupe River continues to be the city’s busiest park. This city park offers a variety of fun camping options such as 30 & 50 amp RV sites, tent camping, cabins, and even a Ranch House. Facilities include the Recreation Hall, the Dining Hall, and day use facilities including playground, butterfly garden, sand volleyball, basketball, 10+ miles of hike and bike trails, river access, River Trail Trailhead, kayak and canoe rentals, fishing, and picnic areas with standing grills throughout. With 517 acres, this is the largest municipal park in Kerrville.

Kerrville Kayak and Canoe - 2020 Seasonal Operating Schedule: Memorial Day weekend thru Columbus Day weekend. Contact Cory Miller, Owner, year round at (830) 459-2122 to make arrangements for groups or full day kayak rentals. (all dates are subject to weather)

Now Accepting Park Hosts

Do you enjoy camping and the great outdoors? Be a Park Host at Kerrville-Schreiner Park!

Park Hosts are volunteers who supplement park staff and field operations at Kerrville-Schreiner Park. With the program, rent is exchanged for a 1-4 month commitment and a minimum of 24 hours of work per week. This program offers a 30 / 50 amp full hook-up site in our beautiful park that rises from the banks of the Guadalupe River to the wildlife filled hills - just a short distance from downtown Kerrville.
