The City of Kerrville is pleased to announce a two-for-one special at the Olympic Pool to celebrate Father’s Day.
Father's Day Special:
On Father’s Day, Sunday, June 19, 2011, dad’s get in free with a paid child’s admission, “Spending the day at the pool is a great way to cool off from the summer heat,” stated Ashlea Boyle, Parks and Recreation Manager, “Come celebrate Father’s Day by treating Dad to a refreshing dip in the pool before ending your special Father’s Day festivities!”
Swim Lessons:
Spots are still available for the second and third sessions of swim lessons held at the Olympic Pool. Session 2 begins on June 21st and will conclude on July 3rd with a registration deadline of June 19th. Session 3 will run July 12th-22nd with a registration deadline of July 10th. Each session runs Tuesday – Friday for two weeks. The fee is $35 for the entire session and the parent handbook is available online. A variety of levels are offered for ages 6 months and up. Class schedules are available online or in the Summer Activity Guide.
Don’t have time to register during the work week? Not a problem! The Parks and Recreation Headquarters is conveniently open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Online registration is also available on the Parks & Recreation section of the City of Kerrville website at www.kerrvilletx.gov.
