[ARCHIVED] KPD Criminal Investigations Unit Arrests Burglary Suspect

On October 28, 2011, the Kerrville Police Department Criminal Investigations Unit (CIU), arrested Ross Goben, 34 years old; for the Burglary of the Kerrville Drug Company, in the 900 Block of Lois St.
On November 1st a search warrant was issued by 198th District Judge Rex Emerson, which was executed and resulted in the recovery of a large quantity of pharmaceutical drugs which were reported to have been taken from Ackman’s Pharmacy and Kerrville Drug Company. Goben who has a history of drug abuse is currently on probation and remains incarcerated in Kerr County Jail with a bond set at $20,000.00 on each burglary charge.
The KPD Criminal Investigations Unit would like to acknowledge and thank the community for responding quickly by assisting in providing information which led to the apprehension.
"This is an example of the commitment that this community has to help keep illegal drugs off the street" said CIU Detective Donnie Bunch.
