On March 24, 2012, The Kerrville Police Department (KPD) Special Crimes Unit, with the assistance of the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO) Narcotics Division conducted a Narcotics Warrant Round-Up, arresting six (6) individuals.

The KPD Special Crimes Unit along with the KCSO Narcotics Division investigates organized criminal activity with a special emphasis on drug traffickers. As a result of on-going investigations and intelligence information gathered, the following individuals were arrested during the warrant round-up.

Halley Anne Mills, 26 years of age, was arrested on two (2) warrants; Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz., and Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 – less than 1 gram of Morphine. At the time of the arrest, Mills was discovered to be in Possession of less than 28 grams of Phenobarbital, a controlled substance under Penalty Group 3. Those charges are pending. Mills bonds totaled $16,500.

Sonja Carole Ernst, 36 years of age, was arrested on two (2) warrants; Possession of Marijuana less than 2oz., and Possession of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 – less than 1 gram of Methamphetamine. Ernst bonds totaled $5,000. Both Ernst and Mills were arrested in the 300 block of Guadalupe St.

Derrick Dwayne Woodard, 26 years of age, was arrested in the 400 block of Josephine Street on four (4) warrants; Delivery of Marijuana – less than ¼ oz., for Remuneration Class A Misdemeanor, Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 3 – less than 28 grams of Hydrocodone, Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 3 – less than 28 grams of Hydrocodone, and Delivery of Marijuana – greater than ¼ oz., a State Jail Felony. At the time of arrest, Woodard was discovered to be in Possession of Hydrocodone. Those charges are still pending. Woodard’s bonds totaled $35,000.

Matthew Joseph Hearney, 27 years of age, was arrested on two (2) warrants; Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 – less than 1 gram of Heroin, and Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 – less than 1 gram of Oxycodone. At the time of arrest, Hearney was discovered to be in Possession of trace Controlled Substance believed to be Heroin. Those charges are pending. Hearney’s bonds totaled $20,000.

Michael Ray Allen, 19 years of age, was arrested on two (2) City of Kerrville traffic violation warrants. Allen and Hearney were both arrested in the 2100 block of Sidney Baker N.

Miguel Yanez Gallardo, 33 years of age, was arrested in the 100 block of Park Lane on two (2) warrants; Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance Penalty Group 3 – less than 28 grams of Valium in a Drug Free Zone, and Delivery of Dangerous Drug – Methocarbamol. Gallardo’s bonds totaled $25,000.

All individuals were transported to the Kerr County Jail where they were booked.
