(July 31) On July 26, the Kerrville Police Department’s Special Crimes Unit (KPD SCU) culminated a three (3) month criminal investigation with the execution of a State search warrant at 527 Town Creek which led to the arrest of Allen Crider and Damon Kazsprzak and seizure of methamphetamine, counterfeit U.S. currency and illegal firearms.
On July 31, KPD Special Crimes Unit filed an affidavit for arrest against Crider for Felon in Possession of a Firearm. The affidavit was presented to Kerrville Municipal Court Judge Privlosky and an arrest warrant was issued and bond was set at $500,000.
Special Crimes Unit Investigators served the warrant on Crider at the Kerr County Jail where Crider remains in custody.
Additional charges will be presented by the Special Crimes Unit against Crider and Kazsprzak at the 216th Judicial District Grand Jury.
