The 12th Annual Kid’s Bike Rodeo is this Saturday, June 23, 2007, at the Tivy High School north parking lot on Loop 534.
Presented by Kerrville Parks and Recreation Department and Hill Country Bike Works, registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the event beginning at 9:00 a.m. The registration fee is $1.00 per participant.
All ages of boys and girls are welcome to participate in the skills oriented event. Riding tricycles, bikes with training wheels and 2-wheeled bikes, the kids go through several stations of bike handling skills such as slow riding, cloverleaf patterned barrels, traffic simulations and vehicle inspection. All participants are required to wear a helmet. There will be a door prize drawing of really cool bike stuff.
