On January 10, 2013 at approximately 12:30pm, Officers of the Kerrville Police Department were dispatched to the 800 BLK of Water Street for a citizen’s report of a deceased adult female found near the Guadalupe River.

Officers found the body of fifty-three (53) year old Jennifer Koplos of Johnson City, Texas. Koplos was found in a wooded area on the north side of the river. Justice of the Peace William Ragsdale was notified and responded to the location. Judge Ragsdale ordered an autopsy to be conducted.

Koplos’ family had reported Koplos as a missing person to Blanco County Law Enforcement on January 9, 2013 at 8:57pm. Koplos’ family was notified of the death by Law Enforcement in Blanco County.

Kerrville Funeral Home was notified and attended to the care of the deceased.

An investigation into the cause of death is being conducted by the Kerrville Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit.
