[ARCHIVED] Disturbance Ends in Violence - Update

On April 16, 2013, Eliasar Ramirez, age 44, was arrested in the area of Houston, Texas, by law enforcement officials, for the outstanding warrant of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon in connection to the November 20, 2012 disturbance that resulted in one person being shot and wounded in Kerrville, TX. Ramirez remains incarcerated pending extradition back to Kerr County.

On November 20, 2012, at 11:55 PM, the Kerrville Police Department (KPD) responded to a 9-1-1 call regarding the discharge of a weapon and a person wounded in the 1600 block of Water St.

When Police Officers arrived at Mulligan’s Pub in the 1600 block of Water St., they found a crowd of bystanders standing around a male, 22 years of age, who had been shot. It was also reported to the Officers that the person involved in the shooting had fled the scene.

Kerrville Fire / EMS arrived at the 1600 block of Water St., to render medical aid to the male victim, who was subsequently transported by Air Evac to a San Antonio hospital.

The Kerrville Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit (C.I.U.) continues to investigate the shooting, and is seeking the public’s assistance with any information pertaining to this investigation.
