On October 24, 2013, the Texas Association of Property and Evidence Inventory Technicians (T.A.P.E.I.T.) awarded the Kerrville Police Department a grant at the Annual Training Conference held in Austin, Texas.

In October 2012, the Police Department Evidence Section submitted a grant application to the T.A.P.E.I.T. Committee for funding consideration to purchase equipment for department’s property storage room.

On October 24, the Committee awarded the Kerrville Police Department a $475.95 grant, which was accepted by members of the KPD Evidence Section. The Police Department will use the grant funding to purchase a needed roller ladder. This new tool will enhance the efficiency of the property storage room.
