Information

Kerrville-Schreiner Park offers a variety of fun camping options, including 30- and 50-amp RV sites, tent camping, mini cabins, and a 3-bedroom Ranch House. Facilities include the Recreation Hall, Amphitheater, and Dining Hall.

Day-use facilities include a shaded playground, pollinator garden, sand volleyball, basketball, 14+ miles of hiking and mountain biking trails, river access, River Trail access, kayak and canoe rentals, fishing, and picnic areas with standing grills. With 517 acres, this is the largest municipal park in Kerrville. While this park is pet-friendly, pets are only allowed in the RV area and on the hiking trails. Leash laws apply.

Holiday Office Closures

The Park Office will be closed on New Year’s Day, Jan. 1, 2026. If you need to make a payment or return facility keys, please place them in the black receptacle to the left of the Park Office door. Park & Trail Closures

Kerrville-Schreiner Park is open, though recovery is still underway after the 2025 flood. Some trails, mini cabins, and riverfront areas remain under repair or are temporarily closed. Visitors are encouraged to stay on marked paths, follow posted signs, and exercise caution around any damaged or unstable areas.

Credit Card Processing Fee

Starting Oct. 1, 2025, the City of Kerrville will begin charging a 3.5% fee on all credit card transactions.  This includes purchases / reservations / registrations that are completed in person, over the phone, or online using a credit card. A great way to avoid this fee is to make payments by check or cash.  Checks should be made out to: "City of Kerrville".
