Libraries Rock! 2018 Summer Reading Club


Registration opens Friday, June 1st


All ages are invited to join us this Summer for a rockin' good time celebrating libraries and reading. Visit the Summer Reading Club page to download your Summer Reading Log today and visit our Calendar of Events to see all the fun and exciting programs scheduled this summer.


Lego Club


Every Thursday in June and July at 1:30 p.m.


All ages are welcome to participate and registration is not required.  Parents and guardians are encouraged to bring their cameras, as the Lego creations will remain at the Library. 

Teen Library Group


Next meeting: Tuesday, June 19th at 1:30 p.m.


Join us for our Teen Library Group (TLG)! Tweens and teens are welcome to come hang out and talk about gaming, fandoms, and much more in the Library Meeting Room. 

Creative Relaxation Coloring Group 

 

Next meeting: Thursday, June 21st at 6:00 p.m


Coloring is not just for kids these days! Ages 18 and above are welcome and all supplies provided. First floor meeting room.

Social Crafters


Next meeting: Tuesday, July 10th at 4:00 p.m.


Come share ideas, show off your projects and get inspired. The group will meet in the Library Meeting Room, located on the first floor.

Adult Book Club


Next meeting: Thursday, July 12th at 12:00 p.m.


The Adult Book Club is an "open" club, allowing those interested to attend as often as they choose. Participants are welcome to bring their lunch as they gather to discuss the month’s book selection. Meetings are held the second Thursday of the month.

At the July meeting the group will discuss "Lab Girl" by Hope Jahren in the third floor Conference Room. Patrons may place a request for the book in person, by phone at (830) 258-1274, or on the library website at http://libraryweb.kerrvilletx.gov. 

Friends of the Butt-Holdsworth Memorial Library Book Store

 


Wednesdays 1 - 3 p.m. & Second Saturdays 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

 
Visit the Friends on Wednesday afternoons and on the second Saturday of each month in their Book Store. The Friends have a wide selection of gently used books, movies, and audiobooks to choose from. Proceeds from the sale support the Summer Reading Program, Large Print collection, and Audiobook collection.
