Library Fines and Fees

Effective October 1, 2022



Overdue Fines

Overdue fines are charged to your account if those materials are not returned or renewed by the due date. Parents and guardians are held financially responsible for items checked out on their minor's library card. Borrowing privileges are suspended when an account has fines and fees at $5.00 and above. Rates are charged per item per day. The overdue fines are as follows:

Lost or damaged materials will be billed at the actual cost plus a $5.00 process fee.

If a library account holds a balance greater than $25.00 for more than 60 days with no payment activity, the account may be submitted to a collection agency and a service charge of $10 added to the account.

Interlibrary Loan Fee

A $3.00 postage fee will be assessed for each item received by the Library.
