Kerrville-Schreiner Park Events & Free Days

KSP Events

Kerrville-Schreiner Park (KSP) hosts a variety of seasonal events designed to help visitors experience everything the park has to offer. During scheduled event times, park entry is free, allowing guests to enjoy guided programs, family activities, and special experiences. While standard park fees apply outside event hours, visitors are encouraged to plan their stay, explore the park, and make a day or a weekend of it.

Interpretive Nature Hike

January 5, 2026 | 10:00 a.m.

Join us for a guided nature hike at KSP Hillside! Meet at Trailhead 3 (Red Trail) Hike is approximately 1 mile. Bring your hiking boots! Binoculars will be provided. More information coming soon!

Movies in the Park & S'mores Night

March 18, 2026 | Movie Starts at Dark

Come relax next to a campfire, roast s'mores, and watch a family-friendly movie. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs! Supplies will be provided while they last. More information coming soon!

Concerts by the River & Family Game Night

March 20, 2026 | 6:00 p.m.

Join us for this FREE event at the KSP Recreation Hall and Amphitheater! Experience live music by the river, food trucks, and a family-friendly game night filled with board games and more.

KSP Community Day

June 6, 2026 | ALL DAY

Enjoy FREE entry into Kerrville-Schreiner Park all day long! We are also excited to offer free nature programming and live music throughout the day.

Holiday Glow Hike

December 21, 2026 | 6:00 p.m.

Join us for a holiday-themed glow hike on the trails of Kerrville-Schreiner Park! Glow sticks will be provided.

KSP Free Days

On select days throughout the year, Kerrville-Schreiner Park offers free day-use entry for visitors to enjoy the park and its amenities. While some Free Days may include scheduled programs or special activities, others are simply an opportunity to explore the park at your own pace. Please note that free entry applies to day use only; overnight camping and related fees still apply. Visitors are encouraged to check the event calendar for details and plan their visit accordingly. Come out and see us!

Mother’s Day Special

Celebrate Mother’s Day with a relaxing day outdoors at Kerrville-Schreiner Park. Moms receive free day-use admission with the purchase of a child day-use pass. Enjoy time together exploring scenic trails, picnic areas, and all the natural beauty the park has to offer.

Father’s Day Special

June 21, 2026

Treat Dad to a day outdoors at Kerrville-Schreiner Park! Dads receive free day-use admission with the purchase of a child day-use pass. Spend the day hiking, relaxing, and making memories in one of the Hill Country’s favorite outdoor destinations.
